Junior Product Manager

The Junior Product Manager will be a vital member of the product team and report to the VP, Product Management. This role will work on a variety of products including instructional design/e-learning, web/mobile apps, automated messaging, and other digital intervention tools. This person will have the opportunity to own and support the development of various products and will work cross-collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with public health related experience looking to transition into a tech focused role or someone just beginning their product management career with the strong desire to learn and contribute where needed for the success of the team.

This position is currently funded through August 2025. Duration of employment is limited to the duration of the grant.

Responsibilities:

• Guide products from conception to launch
• Support the day-to-day needs for product development in their portfolio
• Support supervisor in meeting scope of work from funding agency/organization
• Create reports of attendance at trainings and utilization of products
• Support supervisor in meeting scope of work from funding agency/organization
• Direct communication responsibilities with vendors/funders
• Managing CEU applications and LMS course maintenance
• Schedule, develop, and complete AV components of products
• Assist in the testing and synthesizing of data to improve online products
• Conduct literature searches, and prepare literature reviews, summaries, and reports as well as specific technical content for trainings.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, design, product development or public health related field
• 2+ years of product or project management experience
• Some experience in public health, substance use disorder, or other related field is a plus
• Experience leading the development of digital products and/or public health projects
• Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction, preferred
• Experience interpreting data and qualitative feedback
• Experience hosting inclusive focus groups with diverse product users
• Experience integrating feedback from users who have very limited experience using newer technologies
• Experience discerning when to use technology and when to build a non-technological solution
• Experience successfully communicating between technical and nontechnical teammates at high level and in detail
• Experience with figma, miro, jira, asana, adobe creative suite, articulate, and/or similar platforms
• Compassion and empathy for those impacted by addiction

Starting Pay Range: 

$53,000 – $58,000 based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Note: We are working in a hybrid capacity.  The Junior Product Manager will work in the New York City office at least one day per week.
